Perhaps change is like losing weight; if you lose weight slowly, but steadily you are less likely to regain your weight. Changing slowly, but steadily you are less likely to return to the person you didn’t want to be. I’m going to ponder on this some more.
For instance… if you lose a lot of weight, are you really changing yourself? You may look to some of your friends like a completely different person… but it’s the same you… without some of the baggage. I suppose a good part of understanding what changing ourselves is about, is studying what we really are; getting to know ourselves in depth. Sometimes, choosing a different path, will help us change ourselves. But still, it’s slow.
OH SO TRUE!!! I have been looking at the change in me as well as working on self-acceptance:) Have a Beautiful Day!
Wonderful! 🙂
This is great! You are right everyone has to change themselves!
Thank you Melbra!
So happy you’re doing well, Genie!
Thank you!
and if you can change yourself… it’s just a little… and very slowly…

True it is slow, but I wonder if that is because our human minds need time to adjust.
I found you through Dreamwalker’s blog.
You have a beautiful message to share with the world.
I am inspired.
Thank you.
